What Poket collects

When you register, the application stores your name, email address, password hash, currency and regional preferences. You can choose to enter account names, optional last four digits, opening balances, transactions, budgets, goals and debt records. The app is designed for manual data entry and does not request bank passwords or full card numbers.

How information is used

Records are used to calculate balances, show reports and provide the features you request. Information is stored in the database on the hosting provider selected by the website operator. Authentication uses a secure session cookie. The app does not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts or automatic data sharing in the supplied source code.

Retention, deletion and backups

You can delete your account and its associated application records from Settings. Server backups, provider logs or exported CSV files may persist separately according to the hosting operator's retention practices. The site operator should publish an actual retention period and contact address.

Security and third parties

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, and sensitive pages require login. Internet applications cannot guarantee absolute security. The hosting provider may process information required to host the application. No bank integrations or external exchange-rate requests are present in the supplied code.
